Are you planning to acquire all weapons in Resident Evil Requiem? In a game where you have to face hordes of infected, you can bet that there are plenty of armaments, guns, and very sharp objects perfect for chopping off zombie heads. We’ve got all the details right here, starting with the weapons that can be obtained throughout the course of the campaign. We follow these up with those that are purchased from the supply box and those that are unlocked as bonus content.

Note 1: During Leon’s campaign sections, you’re going to come across supply boxes that allow him to purchase gear and ammo using credits. Weapons can also be upgraded up to Level 2 via the supply box. This increases facets like power, rate-of-fire, ammo capacity, and others. Later, once you’ve destroyed all 25 Mr. Raccoon collectibles, you’ll unlock the Advanced Tuning mechanic, which allows you to upgrade weapons up to Level 3.

Note 2: Since we’re going to talk about weapon locations, you’re going to see spoilers in this article. We’ve also got a Resident Evil Requiem guides hub to help you with other game mechanics and features.

Hatchet

  • Character: Leon
  • Weapon type: Melee
  • Description: A hatchet used by special forces. Capable of delivering fatal blows, but requires regular maintenance to stay sharp.
  • Location: Available by default

Note: Leon can use the Hatchet to parry enemy attacks and lunges. When a zombie is kneeling/staggered, he can also chop off their heads. Do remember that the Hatchet loses durability as you keep using it, and you have to sharpen the blade to maintain its edge.

Alligator Snapper

  • Character: Leon
  • Weapon type: Handgun
  • Description: A reliable semi-automatic handgun. This custom model is issued to DSO personnel.
  • Location: Available by default

Requiem

  • Character: Leon and Grace
  • Weapon type: Assault revolver
  • Description: A DSO-issued, large assault revolver that uses 12.7x55mm rounds. Offering high-powered piercing capabilities, it’s a weapon that you can rely on.
  • Location: Available by default – Leon uses this Resident Evil Requiem weapon initially. He’ll then give it to Grace. Later in the campaign, Grace will return this item to Leon.

B934

  • Character: Grace
  • Weapon type: Handgun
  • Description: A straight blowback handgun. This basic, interwar design prioritizes durability over firepower.
  • Location: Found in the Dining Room on the first floor of the Care Center’s West Wing.

S&S M232

  • Character: Grace
  • Weapon type: Handgun
  • Description: An incredibly reliable handgun. Grace bought it for self-defense with her first paycheck.
  • Location: Found in the Bar & Lounge on the second floor of the Care Center’s West Wing. It’s near a locked safe.

Note: This is actually Grace’s default weapon in Resident Evil Requiem. She loses it early in the campaign, but you can retrieve it upon reaching the second floor of the Care Center.

Makeshift Knife and Hunting Knife

  • Character: Grace
  • Weapon type: Melee
  • Description: A crude, handmade knife suitable for close combat. Can be used to fight off enemies when grabbed.
  • Location: Various areas

Note: Both the Makeshift Knife and Hunting Knife have low durability, and Grace can’t sharpen them or conduct repairs either. Likewise, if you use a knife to stab a zombie that grabs you, it’ll be stuck in their eye/head, causing it to be lost for good.

MSBG 500

  • Character: Leon
  • Weapon type: Shotgun
  • Description: A compact, pump-action shotgun. Offers excellent spread but with limited capacity. Can be customized for an even wider blast.
  • Location: Found in the Attic prior to the Chunk boss fight.

Hand Grenades and Stacked Hand Grenades

  • Character: Leon
  • Weapon type: Explosive
  • Description: A hand grenade that disperses a powerful shockwave when it explodes.
  • Location: Various areas

Note: Once you have a couple of Hand Grenades, you can craft the Stacked Hand Grenade item, which causes an even bigger kablooey.

Classic 70

  • Character: Leon
  • Weapon type: Rifle
  • Description: A standard bolt-action rifle. It can deliver serious firepower in skilled hands. The scope can be swapped out or removed.
  • Location: Found just before the roof deck where you have to snipe infected that are chasing Grace.

Note: There’s a Mr. Raccoon collectible in this area that’s pretty easy to miss since you have to snipe it with your rifle.

Gal

  • Character: Leon
  • Weapon type: Submachine gun
  • Description: A submachine gun developed in the 1950s. Lacks accuracy but has a large ammo capacity, suitable for bursts of sustained fire.
  • Location: Found in the East Raccoon City Underground Parking Garage. It’s inside a shed just past the partially submerged cars.

Marksman 1A

  • Character: Leon
  • Weapon type: Rifle
  • Description: A semi-automatic marksman rifle. The damage per shot is limited, but it boasts a high rate-of-fire and fast reload speeds.
  • Location: Found inside a BSAA Container at the end of the main street in East Raccoon City.

W870 Police

  • Character: Leon
  • Weapon type: Shotgun
  • Description: A pump-action shotgun that boasts an impressive spread. Requires a firm grip to keep its high power in check.
  • Location: Found on a shelf in Gun Shop Kendo in Raccoon City Center.

Mortal Edge

  • Character: Leon
  • Weapon type: Melee
  • Description: A formidable instrument of death. It has taken countless lives and is stepped in a long, bloody history. It has exceptional parry capabilities.
  • Location: There are a couple of ways to obtain this Resident Evil Requiem weapon:
    • Progression: It’s dropped by the Commander boss in the ARK.
    • Bonus content: You can spend 3,000 challenge points (CP) to unlock it. It will then appear in a supply box.

Purchasable weapons from the supply box

  • Weapon type: Handgun
  • Description: A powerful and precise handgun. The built-in suppressor effectively dampens the sound of all shots.

990-TAC

  • Weapon type: Shotgun

Stiri REVO3 A1

  • Weapon type: Submachine gun
  • Description: A lightweight, compact, polymer frame submachine gun. It has a high rate-of-fire and does considerable damage. You can add a stock to improve accuracy.

Note: Speaking of supply boxes, Leon can’t store items like Grace. Instead, he has to sell stuff that he doesn’t need via supply boxes, just to save some space. You can repurchase weapons at their default cost, and their upgrades, if any, are still retained.

Unlockable weapons from bonus content

The Resident Evil Requiem weapons that are listed herein are considered bonus content. As you progress through the campaign and complete tasks/milestones, you’ll earn challenge points (CP). The points you receive can then be used to unlock goodies.
