There aren’t many video game worlds quite like Crimson Desert‘s thanks to its sprawling open world, and it can become even more expansive and special with the use of mods. Since the launch of Crimson Desert, modders have put their heads down and come up with some truly impressive creations that aim to enhance all levels of the game. From making the world even more pleasurable to explore, to fixing some of the unintuitive controls, to adding new gameplay elements, the sky is the limit for Crimson Desert mods.

While you can spend your time browsing the entirety of Nexus Mods, we have compiled a list of the best Crimson Desert mods you can download. As the modding community for the game is still being built, however, you can expect even more to become available as time goes on. For now, though, here are the best mods for Crimson Desert.

Inventory Expander

It’s no secret that the inventory system in Crimson Desert could use some work. While the developer has added a personal storage chest to your camp, that might not be enough when you’re out exploring large chunks of the map in a single trip. If you ever find yourself having to ditch valuable items for more inventory space, then downloading the Inventory Expanded mod is a quick and easy solution. It expands the inventory to include 180 total slots by default, but that can be manually upgraded to 999 slots, which is plenty for any player.

Infinite Stamina

Your stamina in Crimson Desert acts as the bane of your existence in Pywel. It’s a constant resource that you need to manage in order to survive, which can become a real pain as the game goes on. If you want to get rid of your stamina bar altogether, then download the Infinite Stamina mod. This completely removes stamina from the game, allowing you to run as far as you want, glide for an eternity, and never lose speed on a mount.

CDCamera

For the most part, Crimson Desert is best experienced while using the third person camera. However, there’s no option to customize the third person camera through the settings menu. Fortunately, the CDCamera mod gives you a ton of options to make the camera exactly the way you want it. You can change your field of view, camera height and distance, framing, and more.

Minimap Tweaks

The mini map in Crimson Desert is perfectly adequate for trying to navigate the different regions of Pywel and find fast travel points. However, it could be massively improved, and that’s what the Minimap Tweaks mod aims to do. With the mod, the fog on the map is revealed at longer ranges, the zooming function is more consistent, and the icons on the map have a larger size when zooming in and out. It’s not something game-changing, but it makes the minimap much easier to use.

All Ore In Butcher Leather Shop

While it’s a core part of the gameplay loop in Crimson Desert, it can be extremely annoying trying to hunt down all of the rare ores you need to craft and upgrade gear. To ensure you never have to go searching for Epidote or any other ore again, download the All Ore In Butcher Leather Shop mod. This simply stocks the Butcher and Leather shop with all available ores in Crimson Desert, allowing you to purchase them directly.

Configurable Autoloot

With the sheer amount of loot available in Crimson Desert, it can get tedious checking every container, chest, or nearby item. The Configurable Autoloot mod makes it so that you’ll automatically interact with nearby items to loot them. Note that this can lead to some unintended behaviors, such as hiding in haystacks or ringing doorbells, although this can be disabled with a little bit of tinkering with the mod’s settings and sensitivity. You can also choose to activate and deactivate the mod to suit you, so if you’re worried about tarnishing your reputation just toggle it off.

Abyss in Grocery

If you’ve ever wanted to just buy your Abyss Artifacts and Power Cores, then this is the mod for you. While this is technically a mod that “cheats” the game, you still have to work for your Abyss items in the form of acquiring enough silver to purchase them. With this mod, you can find Abyss items at the Grocery shop in Hernand, and the regular artifacts cost nearly 30 silver. The mod simply speeds up the rate at which you can use Abyss Artifacts, as long as you have enough money.

Infinite Spirit and Spirit Regen

Spirit is an incredibly valuable resource in Crimson Desert, but you don’t have an infinite supply of it and when you run out, it can take a while to fully resupply. Well, with the Infinite Spirit and Spirit Regen mod, you never have to worry about Spirit again. You now have an endless supply of it, meaning you can use your Spirit attacks and mechanics as much as you want.

Gild’s Gear

The Gild’s Gear mod acts as a one-stop shop for all gear-related items in Crimson Desert. It replaces the General Store in Hernand and offers a variety of rare and high-quality armor and weapons. In addition to that, you can also buy Abyss Gears, crafting materials, food, treasure maps, and just about everything else you’d want in a playthrough. Essentially, you can completely kit Kliff out from the very start of the game, forgoing the need to track everything down yourself.

Infinite Dragon ATAG

The dragon in Crimson Desert is arguably one of the best aspects of the entire game. However, when you unlock the dragon as a mount, you’ll come to realize that it operates on a cooldown system. This means you can only use the dragon for preset amounts of time. Well, with the Infinite Dragon ATAG mod, that becomes obsolete. The mod allows you to purchase a Dragon ATAG cooldown reset item from Hernand, which makes it so you never have to wait for the cooldown to end. You can keep recalling the dragon as frequently as you want, giving you full-time access to the mount.
