Full Pokopia Pokedex

There are a total of 311 Pokemon you can find in Pokopia–the latest cozy game for Nintendo Switch 2. Thankfully, we’ve unlocked the full Pokopia Pokedex now, and listed them below along with their favorite habitats, specialties, the time of day and weather required to find them, and their type. There are also seven unique Pokemon that have unusual appearances and serve as helpful NPCs as you progress through the campaign. You will only encounter Pokemon through the story or by creating habitats that they spawn in–there are no battles or evolutions in Pokopia. There are also no shiny versions, unfortunately.

Registering a Pokemon in your Pokopia Pokedex for the first time will show a tooltip announcing that you are now friends with that Pokemon. To befriend a Pokemon, you need to build the correct Pokopia Habitat for them–and each Pokemon only has a limited number of habitats that they will spawn in. A short while after creating the habitat, the Pokemon will spawn, and you can interact with it or its habitat to befriend it. After this, it’ll stay in the area, but will roam outside of its habitat to complete tasks, interact with other Pokemon, or follow you if you request it to.

As you befriend more Pokemon, you’ll unlock rewards that are recipes for furniture. Based on the number of Pokemon registered, these are the rewards:

Pokemon also have specialties–these are jobs that each Pokemon can help with once you have befriended them. These are:

• Grow – Help plants grow faster
• Water – Spray water on plants or fields
• Chop – Process small logs into lumber
• Build – Help with building projects
• Bulldoze – Demolish Pokemon Centers for rebuilding
• Search – Hold the Dowsing Machine and walk with a Pokemon with the Search specialty to find buried items
• Fly – Use the Pokedex to search for another Pokemon and speak to one with the Fly specialty to be flown to that Pokemon’s location
• Teleport – Use the Pokedex to search for another Pokemon and speak to one with the Teleport specialty to take you there
• Recycle – Turns non-burnable garbage into iron ore
• Gather – Pokemon will collect materials and deposit them into a Community Box
• Generate – Power nearby machines
• Crush – Turn materials into other items, including paint
• Litter – Drop useful items near their habitat
• Trade – Exchange items with you at a powered cash register
• Hype – Dance when music is playing, improving the mood
• Yawn – Find out the current humidity level and trigger rain if it is at 100
• Dream Island – Drifloon only, takes you to a Dream Island when shown a doll
• Gather Honey – Exchange honey jars for special furniture
• Storage – Holds items for you
• Explode – Launches from a cannon to destroy terrain
• Collect – Exchange lost relics or rare feathers for other items
• Appraise – Professor Tangrowth only. Reveals which lost relics you have found
• Illuminate – Peakychu only, can light the entire town
• Paint – Smearguru only, can change item, furniture, and building color
• Eat – Mosslax only, good things happen depending on the Mosslax food you gift him

Legendary Pokemon

There are several Legendary Pokemon available in Pokopia. They act much like other Pokemon with their own specialties and preferences, but Legendary and Mythical Pokemon can also have an increased effect on the area’s Environment Level. As you improve their comfort, they will raise the Environment Level faster. Several of these can be obtained by visiting Pokopia Dream Islands. These are not guaranteed, so be sure to visit each of them multiple times until you encounter them:

• Suicine: Eevee Doll
• Raikou: Pikachu Doll
• Entei: Arcanine Doll
• Mewtwo: Dragonite Doll

Once you’ve spoken to the Pokemon on these Dream Islands, you can bring them back to your own regions and set up a home for them.

There are some Legendary Pokemon exclusive to Palette Town. You will need to search the area for three special building kits. Each kit requires substantial resources, as well as 15 Pokemon to help build. You will find the Pokemon within the areas when you have finished constructing them:

Articuno

• Requirements: 50 Stone, 50 Ice, 10 Crystal Fragments, 10 Pokemetal

Zapdos

• Kit: Abandoned Power Plant
• Requirements: 50 Copper Ingot, 50 Gold Ingot, 50 Sea Glass Fragments, 50 Brick, 10 Pokemetal

Moltres

• Kit: Altar of the Flame
• Requirements: 50 Copper Ingot, 50 Gold Ingot, 50 Lava Block, 10 Pokemetal

You will also spot Ho-Oh and Lugia flying overhead throughout your playthrough. If they leave, they will drop a Rainbow Feather or Silver Feather. After you have found and befriended Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres, you will get a recipe for a Tidal Bell that needs 5 Rare Pokemetal and 5 Silver Feathers to craft. If you befriend Raikou, Entei, and Suicune, you will get a recipe for a Clear Bell that needs 5 Rare Pokemetal and 5 Rainbow Feathers to craft. After crafting each bell, when you see Ho-Oh or Lugia flying overhead, place the bells and ring them to get them to land. You can then befriend them and build them a home.

After completing the Rocky Ridges part of the game’s story, you can also befriend Volcanion. To get it to reappear after meeting it in the story, you will need to set up a second party and get the mood to 100 again. When the party is finished, load a cannon with some fireworks and Volcanion will appear again. They will ask to join in the party, and will live in Rocky Ridges for good.

Mew, as a Mythical Pokemon, is slightly different from the Legendary Pokemon in Pokopia. Instead of encountering it randomly through Dream Islands or during the story, you will need to collect 27 different Mysterious Slates. These can be found in treasure spots throughout the game. Take them to the Withered Wastelands, where you’ll find some ruins through some rocks that you need to break down near the Pokemon Center. A form of Unown shows each tile. Placing the Mysterious Slate block on the floor will show the front image, but the back will show which Unown slot the Slate belongs to. Put the blocks in the correct positions to make a picture of Mew and complete The Mysterious Mural puzzle. Mew will then appear in front of the mural, and you can befriend it.

Unique Pokemon

Unique Pokemon, or NPCs, are encountered throughout the game’s main story.

Professor Tangrowth

Ditto’s guide and the first character you’ll meet in the game. He has been living where Pokemon and humans once coexisted, but he’s suddenly alone and needs Ditto’s help in rebuilding the areas to encourage Pokemon to return.

Peakychu

A ghostly white Pikachu, Peakychu is unusually pale since it has expended all of its energy helping friends whose electricity ran out. However, it can stand on a generator to charge itself up.

Mosslax

Mosslax has been asleep for such a long time that moss has grown all over it. This Snorlax also has a flower on top of its head, which ends up being pretty important in the story.

Smearguru

This painting Smeargle has the ability to help you change the color of items and buildings.

DJ Rotom

This Rotom inhabits a mini stereo and can play any CDs you find on your travels.

Chef Dente

This Greedent stores kitchen tools all over its body and will teach you special recipes to power up your skills.

 Full Pokopia PokedexThere are a total of 311 Pokemon you can find in Pokopia–the latest cozy game for Nintendo Switch 2. Thankfully, we’ve unlocked the full Pokopia Pokedex now, and listed them below along with their favorite habitats, specialties, the time of day and weather required to find them, and their type. There are also seven unique Pokemon that have unusual appearances and serve as helpful NPCs as you progress through the campaign. You will only encounter Pokemon through the story or by creating habitats that they spawn in–there are no battles or evolutions in Pokopia. There are also no shiny versions, unfortunately.Registering a Pokemon in your Pokopia Pokedex for the first time will show a tooltip announcing that you are now friends with that Pokemon. To befriend a Pokemon, you need to build the correct Pokopia Habitat for them–and each Pokemon only has a limited number of habitats that they will spawn in. A short while after creating the habitat, the Pokemon will spawn, and you can interact with it or its habitat to befriend it. After this, it’ll stay in the area, but will roam outside of its habitat to complete tasks, interact with other Pokemon, or follow you if you request it to.As you befriend more Pokemon, you’ll unlock rewards that are recipes for furniture. You will need to search the area for three special building kits. Each kit requires substantial resources, as well as 15 Pokemon to help build. If they leave, they will drop a Rainbow Feather or Silver Feather. After you have found and befriended Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres, you will get a recipe for a Tidal Bell that needs 5 Rare Pokemetal and 5 Silver Feathers to craft. If you befriend Raikou, Entei, and Suicune, you will get a recipe for a Clear Bell that needs 5 Rare Pokemetal and 5 Rainbow Feathers to craft. After crafting each bell, when you see Ho-Oh or Lugia flying overhead, place the bells and ring them to get them to land. You can then befriend them and build them a home.After completing the Rocky Ridges part of the game’s story, you can also befriend Volcanion. To get it to reappear after meeting it in the story, you will need to set up a second party and get the mood to 100 again. When the party is finished, load a cannon with some fireworks and Volcanion will appear again. They will ask to join in the party, and will live in Rocky Ridges for good.Mew, as a Mythical Pokemon, is slightly different from the Legendary Pokemon in Pokopia. Instead of encountering it randomly through Dream Islands or during the story, you will need to collect 27 different Mysterious Slates. These can be found in treasure spots throughout the game. Take them to the Withered Wastelands, where you’ll find some ruins through some rocks that you need to break down near the Pokemon Center. A form of Unown shows each tile. Placing the Mysterious Slate block on the floor will show the front image, but the back will show which Unown slot the Slate belongs to. Put the blocks in the correct positions to make a picture of Mew and complete The Mysterious Mural puzzle. Mew will then appear in front of the mural, and you can befriend it. Unique Pokemon Unique Pokemon, or NPCs, are encountered throughout the game’s main story.Professor TangrowthDitto’s guide and the first character you’ll meet in the game. He has been living where Pokemon and humans once coexisted, but he’s suddenly alone and needs Ditto’s help in rebuilding the areas to encourage Pokemon to return.PeakychuA ghostly white Pikachu, Peakychu is unusually pale since it has expended all of its energy helping friends whose electricity ran out. However, it can stand on a generator to charge itself up. MosslaxMosslax has been asleep for such a long time that moss has grown all over it.
