Team Cherry’s long-awaited Hollow Knight: Silksong finally arrived in September 2025, and the wait was certainly worth it. The highly anticipated sequel to Hollow Knight immediately (and unsurprisingly) cemented itself as one of the best Metroidvanias of all time upon release, and has, as of December 2025, sold over seven million copies, not including all of those who downloaded it through Game Pass. If you haven’t picked up Silksong yet, we wouldn’t blame you for having serious FOMO.
