KuCoin Celebrates 5-Year Anniversary, Reveals Big Expansion Plans and Community Events

The global KuCoin cryptocurrency exchange is marking its fifth anniversary. The platform is commemorating the event with a number of activities for users and the announcement of an updated development strategy aimed at further traction and scaling of the native ecosystem of products and services.

KuCoin was founded in 2017 by a group of seven co-founders. Over the next five years, the company has grown into a globally-recognized leader in cryptocurrency market operations, scaling the team 142 times to include representative offices in several countries. The exchange’s rapid growth resulted in its expansion of operations to over 200 countries with 20 million users worldwide, a cumulative trading volume in excess of $2 trillion, and the highest single-day trading volume standing at over $30 billion.

KuCoin is the undisputed leader in listings, offering users over 700 coins and 1,200 trading pairs. Such popularization of tokens has earned KuCoin the title of the “People’s Exchange”, given by a community of 1 million strong in 23 languages and across numerous communities.
