Nintendo is expected to release a new Star Fox game in the summer and The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake for Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026, according to a new round of leaks.
Following the confirmation of Fox McCloud’s appearance in The Super Mario Galaxy Movie on Thursday, Nintendo fans speculated about whether or not the game series he’s from could be making a return as well. Nate the Hate, a well-known insider who has accurately leaked details about Nintendo Directs in the past, confirmed that a new Star Fox game was in the works in a podcast.
According to Nate the Hate, it will be a “classic-style” Star Fox game with “very good” visuals and online multiplayer. The leaker didn’t stop there, though, going on to explain that a new 3D Mario game wouldn’t be coming out this year and that one of Nintendo’s big games for the fall would be a remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, among other lower-profile titles and Nintendo Switch 2 Editions.
