The Lord of the Rings and The Boys actor Karl Urban plays the role of Johnny Cage in the upcoming Mortal Kombat 2 film, and now he’s revealed some very blunt advice his children gave him after he agreed to sign on for the movie.

Speaking to IGN, Urban said he “definitely felt the pressure” to nail it as Cage, in part because he wanted to impress his boys. “I remember when I got cast, I said to my two sons–who I actually played the game with, which was my first introduction to the world of Mortal Kombat–and I said, ‘Hey guys, I’m going to be Johnny Cage.’ And they were like, ‘Oof … Big fan base.
