After the launch of Quest 2 in October 2020, Meta has once again returned to the market with a bang. Zuckerberg, the owner of Meta, has given us a glimpse of the future with the newly revealed Oculus VR Headset, the Quest Pro. The internet is abuzz as the Quest Pro’s official launch has been set for October 25th, 2022.

This high-end device has been priced at $1,499.99, nearly four times the price of the Quest 2. However, the Quest Pro also offers four times the experience. The crisp LCDs, high-resolution cameras, and sensor architecture in the VR headset even track the natural facial expressions of the user to give their virtual reality an authentic touch. Users can now experience a superior 3D experience as the Quest Pro adds 37% more pixels to its display.

The hybrid reality feature of the Quest Pro has caught the eye of many developers and designers that are looking to revamp their workspaces. The opportunity to test prototypes for products in the mixed reality world is a game changer for marketing companies. It will also open doors for more creative freedom and market risks to test new services and products. This VR technology will modernize the concept of workspaces in the future.

When the Metaverse was announced in October 2021, it gave an insight into the future of the next generation. Since then, Meta has released products that blend the virtual and real worlds. Zuckerberg is also riding the mixed reality bandwagon and believes that it is the next major step for technology. Now, with the latest VR technology like Quest Pro, this future feels much closer than anticipated.
