I never fail to be impressed with the ingenuity of Minecraft players. From incredible mods to buildings and cities that go beyond anything I could ever imagine, the community thrives on creativity. But I never expected to see a fan create an entire minigame within the game itself, much less one that is basically also Minecraft. Yet, that’s exactly what I have seen this week. While there’s no official distribution of a mod for us to try it for ourselves, just seeing someone playing a 2D sidescrolling version of Minecraft on a sign inside the game is mind blowing nonetheless.
